LLangollen & LLangollen Railway

This is a truly superb day out. We begin with some free time in the Welsh town of LLangollen. It is a small town and community in Denbighshire, north-east Wales, situated on the River Dee and on the edge of the Berwyn mountains.

The town has a wealth of independent shops to browse and interesting places to visit. There is a large number of eating & drinking venues to suit any budget. Take in the beautiful landscape and see the river tumble down beneath the bridge.

LLangollen Railway

After our visit to LLangollen, we will head onto LLangollen Railway station and board the famous steam train. The LLangollen Railway is a heritage railway that runs between LLangollen and Corwen. The journey is approximately 20 miles long and takes you through the most glorious countryside.

The railway is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and this is evident as the train gently meanders through the Dee Valley. The views from our carriages are breathtaking and constantly changing from season to season, you will see the first spring lambs and the ever changing colours of the beautiful vista

Sit back, relax and take in the original carriages and take a step back into the days of steam trains.
