We just love the Cotswolds!!

The Cotswolds has to be one of our favourite places we visit at Golden Day Tours. This area has such quaint & pretty villages. The honey coloured buildings sit beautifully within and provide some added attractiveness. We have done many day trips here and will continue.

There are places such as Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold that particularly stand out that we visit for our day trips.

Moreton-in-Marsh is an extremely attractive town, we tend to visit on a Tuesday when they have their weekly outdoor market that adorns the streets. Here you can walk around at your leisure and see the various wares that the local traders sell. There are many independent shops that are a well worthy of visit also as you can find quirky gifts and beautiful produce.

Bourton on the Water is simply beautiful, it is made up of a small number of independent shops & eateries. It has a river that flows through it that adds tranquility. There is a fabulous model village that you can walk around. This is a small scaled replica of the actual village. It is a must see!!

Stow-on-the-Wold is a fantastic town that is full of character. They hold an outdoor market on a Thursday which which sells a variety of local produce & crafts. There is some quaint eateries that are well worthy of visit too!!

Broadway is considered the ‘Jewel of the Crown’ in the Cotswolds and it’s not hard to see why, this must be one of the most idyllic places in the UK. We have done many day trips here. There are lots of independent shops, cafes and other eateries to visit but the beauty that it offers is simply stunning.

If you have any questions regarding our day trips please get in contact with us and we will be happy to help!!
