We just love the UK at Golden Day Tours, it is full of great places and attractions to go to on day trips. From beautiful places such as Portmeirion to wonderful Steam Train rides through the most beautiful countryside the UK has it to offer!
We do many coach trips to different parts of the UK. We do trips to many special attractions, a recent trip that we offered was one in the SouthWest region. The day started at Paignton and travelled onto the Bodmin and Wenford Steam train.
Our customers had a lovely steam train journey through the glorious Cornish countryside whilst smelling the steam on this nostalgic journey. The carriages all traditional 1950’s so you really get a feel for what this mode of transport was like in times gone by.
Afterwards the customers enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Lanviet Inn. This country Inn is located in beautiful scenery and is perfect to compliment a day trip such as this. It has great reviews for it’s food and it went down very with our customers very well. You really can’t beat home cooked food in glorious surroundings!
The trip then continued onto the beautiful seaside town of Padstow. Our customers had the chance to explore this beautiful town and of course see the iconic harbour. Padstow is very iconic and is where the famous chef Rick Stein came from!
The beauty of coach trips is that you can be driven along in comfort whilst forgetting the stresses that are associated with long distance car journeys!
